The five “MUSTs” you do not need to follow in photography

Just read Eric Kim’s new article, and have some thoughts to share with you guys.

He listed out five musts that people usually told the beginner to follow or to obey. Same as Eric, I just don’t give a shit of it. It did cause me some problems by not following what other photographers did.

I used to shoot portrait photography with bunch of friends, and I used GR II at that time, but they all had super heavy DSLR like CANON 1DX, 5D IV,5Ds, or NIKON D5, D850…etc. For some reasons, they just think my level or my skill is not on the same level as are, so drop out our LINE group, and we no longer contact each other.

On the good side, I dont have to shoot the models, locations, or topics that I am totally not interested. I shoot with more freedom, and I love and enjoy photography than before.
