The weather in Taiwan was affect by the typhoon these days, while waiting for the bus in the rain, I found out that HDR mode is perfect for raining day shooting.
Since the firework event in Taipei is coming, I then tried the HDR mode for the firework again, and the images come out amazingly interesting. Way more interesting than those “perfect” firework images I have seen before.
Those “perfect” firework images are super boring to me, I mean the light is clean, the firework is clean, the color is also vivid, and of course the image looks pretty, then what? no one will remember or knowing who took the picture cause it just look no different from other “perfect” firework images.
Most of people does not like the smoky sky, but to me, the smoke is what make the firework alive! It make the color more colorful and the image looks dramatic.
I am not that type of “perfect” photographers, I just want to have fun with my GRIII, and see how the images came out. I love the result it came out.
