In Taiwan, luxury (houses) equal using lots lots of marble as unnecessary material.
Why unnecessary? cause marble is really heavy and expensive, and does not always make the lobby or the space look pretty or sexy; especially when you see marble at the exterior of the building, the interior of the lobby, hall way, and even the interior of you house…
Ironically, the ashes jar for people who pass away in Taiwan, is usually made by marble… and so does the gravestone, was made by stone in the past, but now, made by marble to look more luxurious…
