Well, personally, I don’t hold a PhD degree, only a BFA in interior design. But what I would like to share on my website is not only about design, but more focus on photo sharing.
I think you really need a lot of useful information to come out a “good” design, but good design does not come out that easy. I always spend a lot of time on brain storming, then start some random sketches, and go read some books or magazines then come back to sketch more. Sometimes, you really got stock on something, photo shooting really helps me refresh and relax my mind. I will go out with my GR II, take random shots while walking, and come back home when I feel all the complex design things is totally out of my mind. I wont check the photo I took right after, but I feel refreshed.
Different from the metal or psychological issue, you really need a healthy body to work on any field, so I am learning self-healthcare(healing) from one of the best Naturpathy or Naturopathic Medicine teacher Mr. KU XING in Taipei, Taiwan now.
